Update: Fixed the link! Our friends at Contemporary Pediatrics wanted to hear more about the seminar series we've been doing, so I sat down and channeled the summary talk into a quick read. Why is this helpful? I've heard from a couple pediatricians ...
A few weeks ago, I got an email from Zac Litwack, the "Director of Growth" from GoCheck Kids. I get a lot of emails from the endless list of startups focused on getting attached to our customer base, so I didn't take it too seriously. But I try to ...
2+ years ago, I sat down with Dr. Suzanne Berman to discuss the idea of a "Practice Management Calendar" on my podcast. Together - though it was mostly she who did the work - we came up with the idea of making a list of all those crazy little chores...
Perhaps you weren't able to attend the first seminar, where we briefly covered The Five Biggest Business Mistakes That Pediatricians Make. We had over 120 live attendees and have over 3,000 downloads since.
In theory, and you may not even realize it, I've switched to a new blog platform. I mention this only so that if something doesn't seem right, please tell me! What could go wrong, I don't know, but let me know if it does.
Last year, I was working with our marketing people to focus on our clients' "pain points." They asked me, "What problems and mistakes do you see the most often in the offices you visit?" I went into a rant and started writing things on a white boar...
Executive summary: what do independent pediatric practices think about their resources for practice management guidance? Not much. SOAPM wins, hospitals lose, and the AAP is somewhere out there.
I had a great time speaking to Drs. Bravo and Rogu on their growing podcast, The Pediatric Lounge, to discuss the state of independent pediatricians and the use of data in a pediatric practice. They are cranking out episodes (which is a good thing) and anyone who supports independent pediatricians should tune in to their effort. What they are doing takes a tremendous amount of work and their guest list is amazing (well, besides me). They turned our conversation into back-to-back episodes (32 and 33), "Independent Pediatric Practice 2022" and "Data Data Data and Managing a Pediatric Office." If you prefer video, you catch up on their YouTube channel.
