Wow, it has been almost exactly 3 years since I last wrote about this.

Before that, 5 years ago, I got together with Dr. Suzanne Berman to put together a Pediatric Practice Management Calendar.  We did a podcast, a presentation at our Users' Conference, and shared the document we created.  Recently, I've had some more feedback about it and I'm scheduled to give a presentation to the AL AAP chapter about it this weekend, so...how about an update?

The concept remains the same: identify all the periodic things that a well run pediatric office has to do to stay on top its game and put them into a schedule to remind you what you need to do next week or next month.  Then, engage the pediatric community to identify more items to add to the list.

For example...when is the last time you made sure that your UPS/generator is working?  Have you updated your pricing for 2021?  Do you know when your credit card vendor contract autorenews?

Over the last few years, I've added new items here and there.  More importantly, I created this Google Calendar - you can add it to your own calendar at any time.  I've taken all of the items on the long list and distributed them evenly throughout the year with some sense of the timing of certain things.
