Recently, I shared an example of insurance company shenanigans reported to me by a customer. Since then, I've seen at least two or three other examples on places like the "Financial Management Society" MGMA mailing list, etc.
I wonder what kind of stories the reps tell when they get back to the mothership after a day among the serfs? "Boy, I got this one practice to sign that confidentiality agreement by telling them that we never enforce it..."
My apologies to the readers of the SOAPM mailing list, as this is a repeat, but there are too many folks who would otherwise miss this piece from the San Francisco Chronicle:
I've had a busy summer and just wrapped up my time at the Florida AAP chapter's "Future of Pediatrics" annual event. Thank you to those who stopped by to say hello! In a few short weeks, it will be time for the 2024 Pediatric CEO event, which I'm really excited for. I think there are a few seats left. I write, however, to draw your attention to two free resources that every pediatric practice should have bookmarked!
