# Quick Housecleaning (PDA, Autism Reading)

March 6, 2008

[aap](https://chipsblog.pcc.com/tag/aap)

Tomorrow, I hope to talk about Prompt Pay laws.

Today, however, two items of interest:

- [pda4peds.com](http://www.pda4peds.com/), a site dedicated to, wait, get this, can you guess...PDA resources for pediatricians. It's decently done and I landed on it when I learned that the new [Bright Futures](http://brightfutures.aap.org/web/pdf/BFNLv5.pdf) content is [already available for many handheld options](http://pda4peds.com/blog/2008/03/06/bright-futures/). Cool.
- I[ Speak of Dreams](http://lizditz.typepad.com/i_speak_of_dreams/) is a well written blog that covers "Effective parenting and education, learning disabilities, non-profit management..."  In particular, her [thorough coverage](http://lizditz.typepad.com/i_speak_of_dreams/2008/03/mccain-drinks-t.html) of the [mercury/autism](http://lizditz.typepad.com/i_speak_of_dreams/2008/02/david-kirby-thi.html) debate makes for [a good resource](http://lizditz.typepad.com/i_speak_of_dreams/2008/01/abc-engaging-in.html).  I also think many here will appreciate her posts about [Skepticism and Quackery](http://lizditz.typepad.com/i_speak_of_dreams/quackery/index.html) in general (like [this one](http://lizditz.typepad.com/i_speak_of_dreams/2008/03/homeopath-does.html) about homeopathy and ADHD), especially the assembled links.

More fun tomorrow.
