Mark Your Calendar: An Eventful Summer and Fall (highlight: Women In Pediatrics)

Discover the pivotal events shaping the pediatric landscape this fall with a special focus on Women in Pediatrics.

I've Been Busy in 2024

I remember when I used to write multiple blogs a week.  Every few months I wonder why I haven't been so blog-productive and then I look at my calendar.  Over the past few months, my schedule has been jam-packed with events and meetings.  In 2024 alone, I've seen or presented to many of you at...PMI in January (already filling up for 2025); Women In Pediatrics in March; PPOC in April, May, June; CCPN and CCPA in May; PROS in June; and culminating in the PCC UC in July. [BTW, all of the classes are coming FREE shortly]

This fall isn't slowing down, either.  The Florida Chapter of the AAP.  The AAP NCE.  And two special events: Women In Pediatrics Empower Express (October 25-27 in Chicago) and the second Pediatric CEO event (November 8-10 in Dallas).

I've told anyone who has asked me: the WiP and CEO events are among the most professionally impactful and rewarding opportunities I've been honored to participate in and support.  I've seen more personal and professional growth and important practice evolution occur in front of my eyes at these smaller, concentrated events than anywhere else.

Dr. Katrina Skinner, who is the hardworking genius behind it all, responded to the demand for a WiP event that could fit more conveniently into a busy schedule and budget.  To quote the site, "Empower Express 2024 is perfect for the fatigued female pediatrician ready to take charge of her personal growth and break free from the shackles of endless 'shoulds.'"  The event is also open to any members of your leadership teams, like practice managers, nurse leads, etc.

I believe WiP  in Chicago has some room left and Pediatric CEO may be sold out.  But check them out!
