A few months ago, one of our pediatric practice management friends reached out to us to look for any good on-line resources for coding training for his pediatric clients. "Someone must have a WWW site with videos explaining how E&M coding works f...
The title is a mouthful, but the topic is as vital now as when I first presented on it perhaps 10 years ago. With the encouragement of some friends, and continued requests from practices who can't make it to a PCC, PMI, or AAP event, we're firing up ...
Meet Dr. Chad Hayes. He's a solo pediatrician in SC with an interesting path to pediatrics who happens to write a particularly interesting and well-considered blog (yay, English majors!). He showed up on SOAPM a while back and endeared himself quickl...
With the new release of Bright Futures v4.0, many of you raced right to the famous BF periodicity schedule, just like we did. I probably refer to that grid once or twice a month as I consult with practices or give a presentation to pediatricians abou...

Courtney @ PCC recently put together this piece to help our clients get their heads around the state of pediatric telemedicine. It's got some clear explanations, excellent resources, and check out this sample from the Table of Contents:
The Independent Pediatrician continues to thrive! Our fifth issue is on its way to approximately 60,000 recipients via co-delivery with Contemporary Pediatrics.
I had a great time speaking to Drs. Bravo and Rogu on their growing podcast, The Pediatric Lounge, to discuss the state of independent pediatricians and the use of data in a pediatric practice. They are cranking out episodes (which is a good thing) and anyone who supports independent pediatricians should tune in to their effort. What they are doing takes a tremendous amount of work and their guest list is amazing (well, besides me). They turned our conversation into back-to-back episodes (32 and 33), "Independent Pediatric Practice 2022" and "Data Data Data and Managing a Pediatric Office." If you prefer video, you catch up on their YouTube channel.
