Whew, it's been a busy month. The big ticket item was, of course, the Supergroup conference. 85 of you, many of whom read this blog, were there, so you are welcome to refute (or support!) my summary of events.
I had three big takeaways from the 2 days we spent together:
- There is clearly significant demand for continued education, knowledge sharing, and social interaction relating to the organization of pediatric groups. The meeting could have added an entire day of just discussions among the attendees.
- Telemedicine is the elephant in the room right now.
- I think we're only seeing the first wave of pediatric "supergroup" effort nationally.
Courtney here at PCC wrote an excellent review of what we picked up when we were there. I welcome feedback.
