Get it on your calendars, now: the Pediatric Supergroup Conference will be held from May 15-17, 2019 in Philadelphia, PA. We are assembling the agenda now, but block of your schedule and tell all your friends.
The weeks leading up to the NCE are a busy time. Here at PCC, we spend a lot of time prepping important announcements to share (there's a big one - maybe two! - coming), and I have to get all of my storytelling into place. Important independent pedia...
As you transition your practice from preventive visits to acute care during this time of year, it's important to remember that preventive visits continue to be vitally important to the financial health of your practice. Why?
Brief recap: last week I shared some results from an analysis we did with Rexer Analytics. Our goal was to look through nearly a million independent pediatric visits to find patterns that might help us predict no-shows.

Remember the Confessions of a Pediatric Practice Management Consultant podcast? You know, it's over there on the right. I hadn't returned to it in a while, but people keep asking me to record more episodes (apparently, listening in the car is a big d...
I had a great time speaking to Drs. Bravo and Rogu on their growing podcast, The Pediatric Lounge, to discuss the state of independent pediatricians and the use of data in a pediatric practice. They are cranking out episodes (which is a good thing) and anyone who supports independent pediatricians should tune in to their effort. What they are doing takes a tremendous amount of work and their guest list is amazing (well, besides me). They turned our conversation into back-to-back episodes (32 and 33), "Independent Pediatric Practice 2022" and "Data Data Data and Managing a Pediatric Office." If you prefer video, you catch up on their YouTube channel.
