"Two companies enter, only one leaves."

There is quite a bit of scuttle going around about the massive Allscripts buyout by Mysis. Fortunately, most of the conversation about these publically-traded companies goes over (or around) my head but, in this instance, it has an effect on many of us. Reading about the merger has led me to at least one really interesting blog that I'd encourage you to poke around.

Ironically, I was just down in NC a few weeks ago to demo our newest client (hello, Dr. Bowman!). As I was driving to the office, I passed by a building whose logo I noticed out of the corner of my eye...the Allscripts headquarters. D'oh.
