Meanwhile…the 99174.  Eye screening.  Associated with those fancy in-office money making machines.  I’ve had a handful of folks ask for details - how often do our clients use it?  How much do they get paid?

Much to our surprise, we found one client who used the 99174 in 2008.  And not often, either - just over 3 dozen times.  Average charge: $40, average payment: $9 and change.  Many $0 payments.  Given the sample, I almost wonder if the practice is mis-coding.

Anyone out there billing the 99174?!
