Everyone remember the AAP NCE in 2021? Peak COVID, we did it all remotely. Not a lot of fun. But that was the first year the AAP asked me to give a presentation that they titled, "25 Tips To Improve Your Practice." With ~50min to give the talk, the implication is 2-minutes-per-tip and if the one I'm talking about doesn't resonate...wait a minute.
I've given the talk off and on over the next few years, but when they asked me to give the talk last year, I realized it was time to refresh the list. I worked hard and cranked out an entirely new set of tips. I sincerely lost count and actually came up with 30 new ones. And these tips are gold. Not because I came up with them - no, every idea on here is something I witnessed a practice implement. I stole them all. But every one of them has the potential to be a real game changer for your practice - either taking advantage of an opportunity or protecting your practice from a problem.
The AAP was kind enough to ask me back again for this year's NCE. I am working on a new set of tips (if you have anything good, send it to me!). In the meantime, I recorded a series of 3 webinars that you can watch, for free, where I go into brief detail for each idea. Yes, you can get the entire deck here, but you'd miss all the incredible humor and great stories from the presentation. Just kidding, I keep it tight in the presentation, too.
