COCIT - the Council on Clinical Information Technology (COCIT) at the AAP - is finally getting its act together, imo.  I don't think I'm surprising anyone to say that the group has suffered over the years from being stagnant and often irrelevant...but times are changing.

What can COCIT do for you?  Here's a great list of COCIT benefits - and the mailing list isn't nearly as voluminous or caustic as SOAPM :-)  But best of all, they are offering some kind of deal right now for membership.  In fact, if I heard right, they are giving it away for a short period of time.  How can you lose?

In fact, I am writing to them now to sign up myself.
