Free Seminar: Patient Recall Strategy for Effective Pediatric Practice Management

The title is a mouthful, but the topic is as vital now as when I first presented on it perhaps 10 years ago.  With the encouragement of some friends, and continued requests from practices who can't make it to a PCC, PMI, or AAP event, we're firing up a free seminar about this topic.

What will we discuss? The fact is that only a small percentage of pediatric practices really manage the preventive care and chronic disease management needs of their patients and what they can do about it.  Here's a snapshot of the latest well visit coverage benchmark I recently shared at events in Kansas City and Chicago:

These measures represent the well visit coverage rates, by age, of some of the highest performing pediatric practices in the country who also happen to have a fairly easy and sophisticated pediatric recall system at their fingertips.  And they still manage a median well visit coverage rate for 7-11yo of only 66%.  That's right, one out of every three 7 - 11 year olds has not been to the practice for a well visit in over a year.  Even the highest of the highest performing practices miss annual visits from 16% of their patients.

Don't get me wrong, I know how hard it is to get those kids into your office.  That's why we're doing this seminar.  I think it's so vital that pediatricians return to focusing on their strength and unique skill set - namely, preventive care! - that I am doing this seminar for free.  I look forward to the day when pediatricians do such a good job with this that people tell me to shut up and talk about something else!

I'm going to share tips and tricks that I've learned from practices all over the country that have helped practices improve their recall rates while resetting the philosophy of the practice to focus on these types of visits.  It really works.  [And, no, you don't need PCC to do any of this.]

Sign up now.  It's free - you have nothing to lose but an hour of your time and unless you're already amazing, I guarantee you will learn something worthwhile.
